NDA exam, one of the favorite exam for the defence lovers. Candidates after +2 who wish to establish their career and want to serve the nation, join National Defence Academy. This is one of the toughest exams to enter in tri-services. This exam is conducted by UPSC in various cities across the country, twice a year named NDA I and NDA II. Cadets along with armed force training complete their bachelor’s degree from recognized university. And after completing training in their respective field cadets join as “lieutenant”. Number of vacancies
- National Defence Academy:
360 (Army: 208 posts, Navy: 60 posts, Air Force: 92 posts
- Posts Vacancies are provisional and may be changed depending on
the availability of training capacity of National Defence Academy.
- The candidates Joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years
B.Tech course and would be given an opportunity to join Executive and Technical
Branches of the Navy subject to availability of vacancies National Defence

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- A candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or
Bhutan.
Application Fee:
- Candidates will have to pay the application
fee through debit/credit card and SBI net banking.
- Fee payment can also be done through
challan of SBI bank.
- The application fee will be Rs.100/-
- SC/ST candidates, Sons of JCOs, NCOs
&Ors are exempted from the payment of application fee.
Gender,
Marital Status & Age Limit:
- Male, unmarried between 16 ½ to 19 ½ years are eligible
candidates.

- Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination
with physics and mathematics subjects from any recognized board.

Exam Pattern
Language:
The medium of the exam will be set bilingually in English as well as Hindi.
It consists of two papers as below:

The first paper is Mathematics which is of
300 Marks. The duration of this paper is 2:30 hours
- ·
The second paper is of General Ability of
600 marks. The duration of this Exam also is 2:30 hours
- ·
After the Written Exam, those aspirants
clear the exam give SSB interview which is of 900 marks

Negative Marking: 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
